Theaters and stages usually separate viewer from performer. Depending on a floor plan, audience members sometimes sit on elevated balconies far from where the action happens. You may also associate dance performances with the rigorous training required of dancers, and the high ticket price required of audiences.

For Juhartánc’s first season, our performance spaces will seat audience members on the same level floor where our choreography takes place. In the case of Eden, this approach and the choreography also allow for non-traditional performance locations, and for you to view from multiple sides.

Juhartánc invites audience members to perform with us as Community Dancers, by taking a workshop prior to a performance. Your workshop ticket then allows us to keep our performance ticket fees low and affordable. Read more about Community Dancer benefits and eligibility.
